During my summer internship at JLG Industries, I worked as an electrification and integration engineer for the advanced telehandler program. My project specifically revolved around building and validating a charging test bench. I used industry-standard tools (CAN, J1939, and J1772) to test and validate both high and low voltage component and system level integration and requirements.
Through my findings I also communicated with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure that system-level requirements were met. Moral of the story? Don't trust suppliers.  Especially if they are from China.
